Acupuncture
Acupuncture treatments use internal medicine and meets where western medicine may leave off. I include acupuncture, hands on modalities like cupping, E-Stim, Moxa, massage, hot stones, therapeutic stretching and liniments. Continuity of treatments promotes increased circulation, pain reduction, smooth flow of Qi (energy) and mental well-being. Acupuncture treats stress, anxiety and many health conditions and issues such as sleep, digestion, depression, fertility, menopause, migraines, long covid systems, mental clarity and pain management.
In Chinese medicine food and herbs are often recommended as part of the treatment plan and related to over-all health by balancing body and mind.

Micro Needling & Facial Acupuncture
Facial Acupuncture is the traditional practice of acupuncture that focuses on the face. It can treat issues such as Bell's palsy, eye issues, TMJ and more.

Micro-needling is a safe, natural & effective alternative to cosmetic procedures. The benefits include improved elasticity, increased collagen production, reduced fine lines, treats discoloration, treats acne conditions, helps balance skin tone and reduce redness and blemishes, improved skin texture and overall improved skin health.
Micro Needling involves using special tools: micro-needing pen, Guasha massage, heated towels, plant based serums and light therapy.
Micro Needling can help with the production of collagen, stress marks, helps with receding hair lines, reducing facial fine lines and age spots. Also aids with the treatment of acne & scaring.
Each facial or micro-needling session is designed for your individual needs, specific face products and serums are applied, including Chinese herbs. Hyaluronic acid is applied which helps to balance the natural hydration of the skin. Light therapy is also applied during each session, which can improve the collagen production as much as 200%.

PLEASE NOTE, with any facial treatment face care protocol is advised for several days following, reducing sun exposure, pool or open water exposure and heavy sweating. The skin will feel stimulated after treatments and the surface may be sensitive to exposure. Microneedling is gentle and does not cause deep reddening, peeling or damage to the skin.

Recommendations for frequency of treatments vary from 4-6 sessions over a period of time for best results.

Massage Therapy
Cultures around the world have used massage since ancient times. It is one of the oldest techniques used to treat pain. Today, massage therapy treats stress, anxiety and certain health conditions.
There are many different types of massage therapy. I use an integrative approach specializing in Preventative Body Work and Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), for integration to heal muscle injuries such as planter fasciitis, shoulders issues, sciatica, hip pain, trigger point work, knee and feet issues plus sports injury and recovery.
Regular massage work helps to improve your immune system, prevent injuries, reduces stress and helps to calm the mind.

Integrative Treatments
My signature treatments include, Massage therapy, integrated Acupuncture points, Meridian therapy, body reading, emotional balancing and energy work.
During each session time allows for us to discuss and connect to your body-mind awareness.
Healing is guided by your current physical and emotional needs. I connect your body's present state with my knowledge of Chinese Meridian Therapy for a full body approach to healing .
Similar to a Five Element approach, the emotional body is balanced and nourished along with the body's muscular system.

Meditation
Meditation
Meditation focuses on mind-body integration and are used to calm the mind and enhance overall well-being. Some types of meditation involve maintaining mental focus on a particular sensation, such as breathing, a sound, a visual image, or a mantra, which is a repeated word or phrase. My background in both yoga techniques, including Pranayama, (breath work) and Shamatha, "peaceful abiding" through a seated awareness practice are rooted in the foundations of my teaching style. I help you find and create your own personal seated awareness practice that will enhance your daily life.
Meditation sessions are in-person, integrated during other sessions or as a tele-health option. Inquire about stand alone Meditation sessions.
Theraputic Yoga
I offer individual and Semi -Private Sessions designed for specific body work. The practice of Yoga aims to create a union between your body, mind and spirit, as well as, between the individual self and universal consciousness. I include Kinesiology which is the study of body movement and how it affects the quality of life and our health. I can design a practice that is unique to your physical and energetic needs while promoting balance and strength. Practices are designed to work well with a client's PT therapy.
